Leadership training / For high school & club athletes
Captains aren’t born.
They practice.
Everyone says “be a leader.” LeadPlay gives you a way to practice: one two-minute team scenario, a script to try, and a reflection each day.
For the teammate you are. And the captain you could become.
Our playbook promises
Short reps. Real team situations.
Private reflections, not coach reports.
Practice partner. Not a coach replacement.
01 / The daily practice
Less theory.
More teammate.
Leadership happens in the small moments: calling out a habit, lifting someone after a loss, or speaking up when it’s easier not to. Get ready for those moments before they arrive.
Sample rep / Accountability
A teammate keeps showing up late. The rest of the team is noticing.
Try saying, privately
“We need you here from the start. Is something making it hard to get here on time?”
Then reflect
Did you listen before judging? What would you do differently next time?
A rep that fits your team
An AI practice partner adapts scenarios to your sport, role, and grade. Work on the situations you actually face.
Take it off the screen
Use the script as a starting point, not a speech to memorize. Try one small action with your teammates.
Build evidence, not just a streak
A monthly leadership portfolio brings your practice and progress together, giving you concrete examples to share with coaches.
02 / Choose your season
A small investment.
A stronger teammate.
Begin with the free 7-day challenge. Keep practicing individually, or bring the whole team along.
